30 years of Martial Arts Excellence

When visiting our schools, remember that a Graduation Exam differs from a tournment. In Choi Kwang Do, students progress through a Rank system that goes from White Belt (their starting point) to First degree Black Belt, instead of participating in Tournaments or Competitions.

After accomplishing this first cycle, students pursue their personal goals and training.

Additionally, students may qualify for an Instructor Training Program and certification.

In some instances, students or instructors with experience in other martial arts may wish to join the classes. In such cases, it is crucial to arrange an Orientation Interview to establish a customized training plan. Even though the training will begin at a white belt level, the student may desire to progress at a faster pace through the program.

For active instructors of different martial arts disciplines aiming to teach Choi Kwang Do inside the European Union, we have created intensive training programs.

Instructor ranks from other martial arts will not be recognized in Choi Kwang Do untill individuals have attained the required scientific and technical expertise to instruct CKD classes and be recertified. However, Instructors may acquire this knowledge more swiftly, given that many of them have prior experience teaching martial arts.

All certificates issued by our schools to the students since their fist grading test are OFFICIAL CERTIFICATES.

Your first class

Your initial session is always complimentary. Please remember to wear a t-shirt and long pants (we do not allow shorts for training at CKD), bring a water bottle, and if you are under 16, you must be accompanied by an adult for the first class. The teaching approach is different for children, teenagers, adults, or those seeking low-intensity training. No need to stress about it!

Membership

The membership fee of €50 is a one-time payment made during registration, and it is valid internationally. Secure your spot by paying the membership fee, which covers: STUDENT GUIDE or kids student handbook (including parent orientation) TRAINING UNIFORM (jacket, pants, and belt)
